Last week, Cindy claimed that there would be no more Soapboxes for the year; however, that was before we knew the fabulous news that the remainder of the Cuban 5 were released from US prisons.

We work so hard with our various struggles, and the struggle for Cuban sovereignty and autonomy from US hegemony is not over, but this seemingly small victory for justice is HUGE and should be celebrated. 

Today, Cindy chats with her friend and fellow campaigner to release the 5, Toronto-based author/activst Keith Bolender.
