  1. Great show, Cindy, thanks! It was really great to hear Scott Olsen speak about his activism. Did you know he gave back his purple heart? Threw it back in protest in Chicago, I believe. It wasn't mentioned, but I think that's significant.

Also, we haven't exactly met, but I was doing live streamer support earlier this year when you were in attendance at the Whistle Blower Conference at Cal. I watched the whole thing, all three days and it was absolutely fascinating! I wish more people could attend or at least watch these events. Which brings me to...

I'm not as certain as you are that many more people are aware of Julian Assange than are aware of Bradley Manning. Assange, as the "face" of Wikileaks, may be getting more attention right now than Manning and will likely continue to get more coverage because the press has no access to Manning. Not that journalists of all stripes wouldn't LOVE to interview him, it's that they aren't allowed. I just hope that Assange is able to get out of England and into Ecuador as quickly as is possible and safe. The sealed grand jury indictment (and conviction as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow) awaiting him here may be the worst kept "secret" in the world. It's just a shame that we need sites like Wikileaks and people like Assange, (and Manning if he is even the responsible party,) to shed light in the darkest places our government operates, often illegally.
