It's sadly true that most of the things on my Resolution List are out of my control, but are more of a Wish List to reduce and/or completely eliminate the US Empire.
However, as I have done every year since I can remember, I do resolve to improve myself and to do everything I can this year to educate, inspire, perspire, and work for PEACE on EARTH!
Hi Cindy,
ReplyDeleteVery interesting post. You've got a nice list of new years resolutions. Maybe I'll make my own list too, something easy to achieve.
Happy new year!
Well Cindy...I share your passion and conviction, so together we can do twice as much :)
ReplyDeleteI am starting a non-profit to get a law passed that will in my opinion solve the gun problem without banning guns, as that is not the stage we are at yet. I will keep in touch as I think we can work well together on this. My name is Teeluck (you can google that) This will explain... http://shockandaweonamerica.blogspot.com/2012/12/dont-ban-guns-or-large-capacity-clips.html
Except for the 10 lbs I,m Right There with Ya !!

ReplyDeleteCindy, I'm a libertarian, but I would enthusiastically accept your plan. Much love!

Right on sister-woman!
ReplyDeleteI agree with all your resolutions, except legalizing marihuana and hemp. I don't believe in drug use, legal or not. If it is to prolong life, like prescription drugs, then yes, other than that no.
ReplyDeleteLife is too short and too precious to go through high as a kite. Oh well, that is what democracy means, agree to disagree. I wanted to vote for you and Roseanne here in Texas, but your names weren't in the ballot, ergo, I didn't vote. I'm tired of choosing the lesser of two evils.
"* Pay reparations to destroyed nations". Does that include US?
ReplyDeletePrescription drugs are much more harmful than marijuana. Hemp isn't even a drug.
ReplyDeleteGreat list. I would also encourage you to transition off of eating/using animal products. It's much healthier for you, the planet and of course the animals. Love to you and good luck to us all in 2013. We're going to need it.
ReplyDeleteI have already done that, personally and I agree with everything you have said. I have been a vegetarian/vegan for over 25 years.
Deletexoxo
I am so happy to hear that! Many activists don't see the connnection between animal and human suffering, but to quote Leo Tolstoy (War and Peace): "As long as there are slaughterhouses, there will always be wars."
DeleteKeep up the fight Cindy--we love you!
