Ironically, I had to skip Day 2 of my "Daily" Digest yesterday because of corona. My middle grandson is on the autism spectrum, so he is able to go to school every day (unlike my other grandchildren AND most children in California), but his main teacher was unavailable to have him in person at school, so (since my son, his dad is working, thankfully), I had to watch him and supervise his distance "learning." As much as I love my grandson and want to help, it's very exhausting. My mother-in-law used to always tell me, "that's why young people have children."

A tragic consequence of the establishment's mishandling of this coronavirus is that the very young and the very old have had to pay the highest price. We here at The Soapbox are fully aware that the people in the seats of power are mass-murdering psychopaths, but CV has brought it home on a large scale.
This is NOT, NEVER acceptable!

I am not a football fan, but I am a fan of young people doing activities that are healthy for their mind, bodies, and spirits.
We support "Let Them Play" for that reason, but also because there is no scientific proof that youth sports spreads the cv; and there have been many places where sports haven't been cancelled that prove it is not dangerous.
The California Dictator Newsom doesn't seem to be following any science, at all.
