When I say, ‘Be kind to one another,’ I don’t mean only the people that think the same way that you do. I mean, ‘Be kind to everyone, it doesn’t matter.’”
Ellen Degeneres after her fan base went understandably wild because she was sharing an extremely friendly moment with the War Criminal George W. Bush at a Dallas Cowboys’ game in 2019.
Comedian/talk show host Ellen is not the first liberal to cozy up the the repulsive War Criminal, George W. In fact, First Lady Michelle Obama was one of the first nouveau-celebres to make it “cool” to love George—and, why not? She sleeps with a War Criminal every night, I presume. But, if Lady M loves someone, then much of the Obama base start to forget the murderous/callous/disastrous regime of George.
“Our values are the same. We disagree on policy but we don’t disagree on humanity. We don’t disagree about love and compassion. I think that’s true for all of us.” Michelle Obama*
*Of course their "values" are the "same." They both belong to the untouchable political class whose only connection to humanity is murdering and oppressing it; and uses their offices to simultaneously promote and hide corruption. They are creatures that roam in the broad daylight, but should be reviled, not rehabilitated.

What is most ironic about the love Ellen has for George is that his regime opposed gay marriage and classifying crime against LGBTQ as a hate crime. When Ellen went on social media to do some virtue-signaling, kindness-shaming, she was acting like perhaps people weren't being "Kind” to George because he parks in handicapped spaces, but his legacy is many magnitudes worse than that!
For as much as the legacy of Barack Obama has been completely rewritten by liberal ideologues, the same has been done with the murderous legacy of George Bush and by the very same people. This is unsurprising however, as these days liberals will take whomever they can get as long as they aren’t Donald Trump (even a war criminal with escalating mental decline: Joe Biden).
John Bolton, Rex Tillerson, Mitt Romney, and John McCain are just some of the warmongering enemies of the people that have been rehabilitated to suit the whims of the anti-Trump crowd. Each of these people has/had a laundry list of crimes and misdemeanors that would land you or I in the Big House for the rest of our lives, or land us in th electric chair. George Bush however has the distinct honor of having perhaps the most offensive rehabilitation processes. The wars in the Middle East, launched on lies and misinformation for the goal of further enriching the global oligarchy in so many ways, will be one of the most disgusting lasting legacies of a US President. As the garbage year of 2020 is slowly shifting to our rear view mirrors, many are forgetting the events of 9/11/01 and the violent reaction of the Bush regime that has propelled the U.S. into a complete quagmire of imperialism that continues unabated to this day.
Of course, on April 04, 2004, my life tragically intersected with the policies of the War Criminal George. My oldest son, my dear boy, my wonderful human, Casey Austin Sheehan was murdered by the policies of the Bush regime in Iraq. Even before Casey left, I knew if something happened to him, it would be because of the lies of George Bush. Of course, the War Criminal George had a lot of demonic help, but he was the one at the helm of the so-called Ship of State. Not only is Casey dead, but over one million Iraqi suffered that fate along with thousands of US troops, and the country is now in tatters.
To this day, babies born to Iraqi mothers are born with horrifying birth defects and older children are getting blood cancers and hard tumor cancers at a higher rate than other countries. Any person with any shred of decency would be throwing their shoes at Bush like the heroic Muqtader al Zaidi; not “being kind.”
I have spent my life since 04/04/04 trying to hold Bush accountable for the death of my son; however, all the deaths are personal to me. I even camped out in front of his “ranch” in Crawford Texas many times to bring attention to his crimes and the fact that he is going unpunished.
I will be goddamned if I am going to allow the War Criminal George to be allowed to live in peace and be thought of as something other than the complete monster that he is.

ReplyDeleteWell said.....and so justified....thank you presenting truth....the sheep gobble up mindless media and continue listening to propaganda while getting their tv fix....It's people like you we need to point out what truth is concerning this heretical foreign policy....that continues to shroud our own personal existence, and in your case, the loss of your son because of lies and deceit....You are one of the reasons people continue to stand up against the war machine...because it is wrong, because the collective wants PEACE....ty Cindy

We have a Black, Latino, even an Indigenous misleadership class in the US and elsewhere, the psuedo-left/controlled opposiiton, and yes there's even a Queer Misleadership class that airbrushes all the Anti-Queer policies of Clinton and Bush and I think Peter Hitchens who is no flaming left-winger but at least unlike his warmongering late brother is for the most part consistently anti-imperialist and saw Iraq, Libya, Syria, Ukraine, and Anti-Putin industry for what it was a pack of lies. He participated in a debate at Oxford or Cambridge on whether "New Labour destroyed the country" refering to the Blair/Brown years in the UK, he jokingly said they did aided and assisted by the Conservative Party. This debate was mainly between right-wingers and neoliberals so not much substances on either side and someone from the audience complained that there wasn't a left-wing voice. Peter Hitchens picked up on that and said "well I'll do it for them to an extent but not one word has been brought up and that is IRAQ". Hitchens proceeded to danm the war and untold human costs and said "As long as they live they should be reminded day after day and they can't be shamed enough for what took place". It got roaring applause and When the Blair apologist responded asking "Are you saying it would've been better off to leave Saddam in power?" there was loud audible boos and groans and Hitchens responded "well if you put it like that yes BECAUSE I DON'T BELIEVE IN BOMBING AREAS FILLED WITH CIVILIANS, I do not believe in meddling in other countries it is of no business of ours" and he tore the house down. Long story short how ANYONE can try to embrace and forgive the epic crimes of a Bush, Reagan, even Obama (hey we can love Bush because Obama is truly no better, Bush is a nice Southern gent, Obama is a smooth talking operator and if he had a Southern accent and called himself a Republican I can tell you people would still like him. Its just sickening, sickening to the core and anyone who engages in normalizing their crimes and is all giddy to meet and hang out with them well your complicit in evil is all I can say.
