CALIFORNIA BALLOT INITIATIVE
Alex Fidel is a 22 year old independent journalist & new media
entrepreneur, coming from a musical background. He founded the
Freethought Media Network in 2010 as Freethought Radio, to give voice to
news & music ignored by the establishment. He was covering
President Obama continuing & expanding George Bush's war crimes
& civil liberties erosions while the mainstream lauded him as a
liberal. Alex also interviewed some of his personal heroes as a radio
rookie, such as hemp activist Rick Simpson, Gov. Gary Johnson, Cindy
Sheehan, Howard Kaylan (Turtles/Zappa), Malalai Joya, Christina Tobin,
and Richard Christy (Howard Stern). Alex continues to take on the two
party establishment, in addition to exposing war crimes, corporatism,
and breaking the silence on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. He is a
volunteer with Free & Equal and the Jack Herer hemp initiative 2014.
He is also a grassroots activist and is a candidate for mayor of
Encinitas, CA in 2014, as a non-partisan independent seeking alternative
party unity endorsements, on a platform of smashing the banking system
at a local level and smashing the state.
