I think this discussion seems to be about labels rather than about the serious issues threatening our Democracy, which is what Bernie has a long record of addressing. Comparing him to Obama is about comparing great (mostly empty) rhetoric with a life-long consistent history on issues. If I were to label Bernie, I would say he is our best Progressive option for installing a member of the Peoples' revolutionary movement to a position of influence for ensuring that this nation "of the People, by the People, and for the People shall not perish from this Earth," which it is in dire danger of doing.
