Biden's first month as POTUS has been characterized by more censorship, increasing police state, and of course, wars.
Some of his voters in the "peace" movement were really hoping (against Biden's belligerent history) that he'd end the US's meddling in the Middle East and free Julian Assange, but of course, the opposite of those things have happened because all hopes are based on some kind of magical or mythical thinking.
As horrible as was Trump, he would have to be in the U.S. government for another four decades before he could descend to the level of corruption and service to the Military Industrial Complex and Wall Street that Biden has "achieved."
Is the answer to keep on voting in more Democrats? To keep placing all the blame on Republicans? Or working together in solidarity with each other and the rest of the people in the world?

As concerns about vaccine safety grow, the Biden administration is enlisting Big Tech’s help in removing social media posts that deviate from “officially distributed” COVID-19 information.

The Biden administration is forcing schools to administer standardized tests in the midst of the global pandemic. Last year, Donald Trump waived these tests due to the coronavirus.
(Note: as a grandparent who has been intimately involved in the Zoom-pocalypse of "learning" for the past almost 12-months, I can verify the claims made in this article. Shame on Biden. Standardized testing is problematic under ideal circumstances, but right now, it's counterproductive and harmful.)

Note from Cindy:
Today is the 40th birthday of my oldest daughter, Carly.
I'd like to give her a shout-out because she is a beautiful human-being and a teacher. She's been teaching 8th grade for several years and has won awards and she hates this distance "learning," she yearns to be back in the classroom with her students.
Happy Birthday, Carly!

A nursing home in Spain where the Pfizer mRNA vaccine was administered January 13, 2021, is reporting that all 78 residents have now tested positive for COVID-19, and at least seven have died.
While the reports are not saying whether the COVID cases and deaths are related to the vaccine, a pathologist at Wuhan University told Global Times that “it is possible that the vaccination causes positive IgM antibodies, which is a natural process. IgM is usually the first antibody produced by the immune system when a virus attacks.”
Regarding the deaths, it’s also possible that those were coincidental, the pathologist said, although “the use of mRNA-based vaccines carries the risk of causing abnormal immune dysfunction, allergy or even death especially among the elderly and people with underlying diseases.”

"They" don't know because technically, the covid jabs are still in clinical trial stage until January 2023...I don't know about anyone else, but I'd like to NOT be a guinea pig for profit.

By Nicole WetsmanOn Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Fox News @ Night,” Rep.-Elect Claudia Tenney (R-NY) called for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) to resign over his handling of nursing homes during the coronavirus pandemic.
Tenney said, [relevant remarks begin around 2:45] “Gov. Cuomo should be held accountable. I called for his resignation as the governor. Because this is a clear violation of the law and could potentially be a criminal act. It isn’t the first time I’ve called for Gov. Cuomo’s resignation…I think the governor has to pay the price for this. I think we need a new governor.”

Newsom dealt big blow to his authoritarianism from Supreme Court
(Cindy Sheehan's Soapbox does not advocate for any religion, nor the constitution--but, what is, is.)
The U.S. Supreme Court dealt a major blow to Gov. Gavin Newsom’s executive authority when it knocked down California’s ban on indoor worship, ruling that the governor’s pandemic restrictions unfairly targeted churches in violation of the First Amendment.
The 6-3 ruling issued late Friday prompted Newsom’s administration to release new guidelines Saturday permitting places of worship to hold indoor services at 25% capacity in purple- or red-tier counties and at 50% capacity in orange- or yellow-tier counties. The Supreme Court left intact the state’s prohibition on indoor singing and chanting, though Pasadena-based Harvest Rock Church, one of the plaintiffs, plans to petition for the right to sing indoors. In another wrinkle, Santa Clara County said it will continue to ban indoor worship because its health orders are different than the state’s.
Although some California religious institutions plan to continue holding online services for the time being, others opened their doors for Sunday services.
The ruling is likely to embolden other groups fighting Newsom in court who argue they, too, are being singled out. Among them:
Newsom offered his perspective on reopening at a Wednesday press conference.
